Privacy Policy
What this site does and does not collect. The short version: very little.
Summary
Silver Halide is a static website. It has no user accounts, no login, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks and no third-party analytics scripts.
What is stored on your device
The site uses no cookies for tracking. The interactive tools keep their state in memory for the duration of your visit and nothing is written to persistent storage.
Photographs you upload
The Zone System Visualizer can analyse a photograph you choose from your device. That file is read by your browser and processed entirely in memory on your own machine. It is never transmitted anywhere, never stored, and it disappears when you close or reload the page.
Files you download
The processing record and zone analysis exports are generated in your browser and saved directly to your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Server logs
If this site is served by a web host, that host may keep standard access logs containing IP addresses and request paths, as essentially all web servers do. Those logs are outside the control of this site and are not used for any purpose here.
